Terms of Service

These terms describe how PayDay works for you. We have written them in plain language. They do not replace your employer's payroll terms, but they govern your use of the PayDay platform.

Last updated 2026-05-21

1. What PayDay is

PayDay is a service that brings forward wages you have already earned in the current pay cycle. You are not borrowing anything. You are choosing to receive what is yours, earlier than payday, in exchange for a fixed service fee.

2. The service fee

The fee is structured as a Murabaha service charge — approved by Shariah scholars. It is fixed at the moment you confirm a request, shown to you in SAR before you confirm, and disclosed alongside any applicable VAT. The fee does not grow over time. There are no late fees. There is no interest.

3. How repayment works

When your next payday arrives, your employer deducts the amount you accessed from your salary. That is the entire repayment. PayDay does not collect anything from you directly. If you leave employment, any outstanding accessed amount is settled with your final paycheck.

4. Eligibility

Your eligibility — including how much you can access — is configured by your employer in accordance with their EWA policy. You can only access wages you have already earned in the current cycle. PayDay does not extend credit beyond earned wages.

5. Your account

Your PayDay account is activated by your employer using the phone and email they have on file for you. You sign in using a one-time code. You may not share your account or use someone else's. If your phone or email changes, your employer's HR maintains those records.

6. What PayDay is not

PayDay is not a loan, not a credit product, not a payday lender (despite the name — 'PayDay' refers to your payroll cycle, not to payday lending), and not regulated as a credit institution. PayDay does not report to any credit bureau.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will surface the change in the platform and update the last-updated date below. Continued use of PayDay after changes are surfaced constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
