About

We started with one question.

Why do people borrow from the future when they've already earned today?

The founding story

The gap between when work is done and when wages arrive does real damage. Most monthly pay cycles weren't designed with workers in mind — they're industrial-era leftovers. For someone making rent on the 1st when payday is the 5th, that gap shapes the whole month. We started PayDay because that gap is fixable — not with credit, not with a workaround, but with direct access to wages already earned.

Credit-based 'advance' products fail this market on two counts. Religiously, riba makes most of them off-limits for a large share of the workforce. Practically, they layer debt on top of an income shortfall — making the next month harder, not easier. Neither outcome sits right with us.

We built a Murabaha-based EWA platform: a service that brings forward wages the employee has already earned, in exchange for a transparent, fixed fee. No interest. No debt. No balance that grows over time. Saudi-built from day one — three languages, three portals, designed for the regulators and for the people who actually use it.

What we value

Dignity over upsell

We never push usage. We make it available. If you're better off not using PayDay this month, we'd rather you didn't. The product earns its place by being there when you need it.

Plain words over jargon

If a 22-year-old delivery driver can't read it, we rewrite it. Same for legal terms, fee disclosures, and FAQ answers. Clarity is a feature.

Governance over growth-at-all-costs

Every disbursement reconciles. Every action audits. Every employer knows the controls they have. We'd rather grow slower with the right controls than grow faster and clean up later.

Saudi-built for who works here

Three languages with RTL-first layout. National ID and Iqama support from the ground up. Local payroll cadence, local regulatory cadence. Built for the workforce that is actually in Saudi Arabia.
